| When the spookiest night of the year comes, the deadliest horrors dress up and flood the citys streets, looking for candy blood. For this trick-or-treating, youll need a really large candy bag. And maybe some reliable weapons too. Volatile (sugar) rush has made them much more sensitive to sounds during Halloween, so any noise you make will alarm and lure them to you. Use your Super Cranes powers to wipe those carved smiles off their pumpkin faces, and dont forget to collect their trick-or-treat potions. Warning: Use with caution! Their effects can be surprising. The community will want to collect as many of these as possible, so help them, and youll definitely be rewarded. And dont forget to get rid of the Goons, Virals, and Volatiles! Weve been working hard on developing the most advanced types of weapons, and we came up with something completely out of this world. Just what youll need to stop a space invasion. Hop in your new ride, the V-39 Star Rover, put on your V-9 Defender Suit, and lets get down to business. One of our greatest achievements, the V-40 Suspender pistol, will put your enemies in stasis, giving you extra time to eliminate them. If youre skillful or lucky enough, you can make them freeze in the air! The fall is certainly not going to be pleasant for them, but as long as theyre hanging up there, remember to say cheese! and smileits gonna be your best picture ever. Once youre done having fun with that, grab the V-23 Eraser, a rifle shooting laser bullets with a dazzling effect, which can set your enemies on fire. With this one, youre sure to eradicate anyone and anything on your way. Things got personal and you got trouble deciding how you want your foes served? Poisoned, burned, or shocked? Slash the Infected with the V-27 Shifter and youll have all of these covered, as your machete changes its deadly effect after consecutive hits. And in Harran, you must always choose you. Fortunately, youve got just enough of too long, tangled cables that have been waiting all those years to finally come in useful and colourful LED lights (because we all know everythings better backlit) to turn your hardware into deadly and stylish weapons. Well, more than that. Gaming weapons! That instantly makes them better, right? Now, its time to show the infected your new gear! Chain at least three hits with the new one-handed axeRGB AXE-Padto apply shock damage! Or, if youd rather use something heavier, smash them with the Next-Gen Maul hammer. Use a charged attack to let its power flow through the circuit and shock your enemies. But sometimes its better not to come too close, and for that, youve got the LED Meta Bow. It glows, it shoots, and, most importantly, it keeps you away from the bloodthirsty monsters! But lets not forget about the pinnacle of your crafting skills! Some extra lights here and there, just a little bit of polishing, and your buggy has turned into this cool 4wheelz ride! So, jump right into it, put on your 1337 G4m3R VR headset (Careful! Expect a lot of Virals, whose numbers weve increased to push the attacking hordes into overdrive and intensify your fight for survival as you face waves of infected coming for you. To even out the odds and shift combat towards Valve-esque territory, were also more generous with guns and ammo for you to find. Were sure youre gonna love what comes next! The icing on the cake is the inclusion of three iconic Left 4 Dead 2 melee weapons: Electric Guitar, Frying Pan, and Golf Club. You will find the blueprints in the free DLC, but the most badass variants (orange and gold) are available as rewards for completing challenges and three special Bounties during the event. Players now have the ability to use all-terrain buggies featured in Dying Light: The Following on custom maps, even if you only own the base game. With that new addition comes also the option to freely modify the driving system and use the buggies in PvP scenarios. To coincide with the latest update, Techland and Razer announced the special 'Buggy Madness' contest. Anyone can compete by creating a buggy-based custom map using Dying Light Developers Tools (available for free on Steam) and submitting it at the official contest website. The contest runs from May 19th to June 19th 2016 and aims to select the most creative, enjoyable, and high-quality maps. Among many new features, the expansion is bringing drivable all-terrain buggies, a new storyline for protagonist Kyle Crane, and a new explorable region that is larger than all areas of the original game combined. Also from February 9th, players will have the option to enjoy the definitive zombie experience thanks to Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition, which will include an enhanced version of the main game, the Dying Light: The Following expansion, the Be the Zombie mode, the Cuisine&Cargo challenge missions, the Ultimate Survivor Bundle, The Bozak Horde mode, and all content updates released to date.
